Racecars are NOT good on the street

Sounds badass when someone turns a street car into a race car. However this is a little reminder how not practical that idea is, and how its the quickest way to devalue your car. Notice how terrible the challenge car’s turning radius becomes with the wider tires in the front, nor is a race clutch designed for regular use, nor is the front spoiler designed for standard clearance needs, oh and a race suspension isn’t so forgiving. Just get both if you insist on racing.

This car is for sale if anyone is interested in actual 2007 Ferrari F430 challenge car price is $100,000. email rob@superspeeders.com

This guy is an IDIOT!! You can buy "race cars" that are street legal. You simply need to know where to find them!! The Japs, Europeans & Italians all build race cars you can buy & drive on the roads. These are known as "sleepers"!! If you know how to do the job properly, you can set your normal road car up like a race car. There are road tyres designed for high speed use & you don't need to lower your car to make it handle either. The u-beaut after market suspension systems around these days can be used & your car will have a nice ride also. Clutch? DICKHEAD!! The race cars employ very similar clutches to the modern manual shift cars you find on the road!! Go to EUROPE & see what race car builders like BMW, Mercedes & Porsche use in their ROAD cars!!! You WILL find a lot of these cars share the SAME drive line!! The only difference being the manufacturer. These could be ZF, Getrag, or the one they make themselves. You're another DICKHEAD who only acknowledges what is going on in his own country in the motoring world.

Rob, could you put a lot of money into my Miata? I'm thinking of turning it into a firetruck.

If you really want a real RACEcar for the road, you can still do it reasonably: buy yourself a WRC or an R5 rally car. They were built for the road anyway and they will be quicker on the road than any track car (well, twisty mountain road).

Race cars are meant for racing. Street cars r made for street driving. Simple? Nobody drives a fucking fully built race car on the street.

Fuckin proper sound advice, any car can be a track day car, quite literally anything, and the best part is if your mates have the same thing, you can make a championship out of 1.3l Ford cars, if they all have the same spec it's all down to the driver's, try it, it's massive fun.

Racecars are not good on the street, and motorcycles are not good on the water. No shit.

No seat belts? Then what are you wearing dumbass? And do you expect a racecar to be comfortable to drive?
