Raptor should have cut all the corners and put that suspension to work. Looks like he should have been in 4A too.

Let's see When the GT500 come out

  24. Jose Velez

Ford released the Shelby GT500 in 2007 after the Ford GT production was over. They release the 500 with 50HP less than the GT. 3 years later the 500 was 550HP and at the end of production they changed the engine to 5.8L with 662HP. I assume that Ford will not release the new GT500 after the current Ford GT production is over. I do not think that Ford will release a car with more horsepower that the GT. A Mustang with 775HP should be very close to the Ford GT performance for less money. The 350R was 8 sec. behind the Ford GT and the 500 should have over 200HP more and a lot more torque. Hopefully better brakes and tires to cope with the extra HP.

The Focus RS was very close to the Mustang GT performance and that is impressive from a 2.3L.

    February 3, 2018 at 12:24 am

Need to let the slowest go until the fastest goes, as the Raptor, the slowest in the grid, is in the same race as a Le Mans-winning car.

That was pretty fun. You guys should let me take my 2014 V6 base auto out there. I've done a couple things to it. Would more than likely at least beat the Raptor. Good stuff. A word of advice though.. you flash the cars in the beginning and end too quickly.

    February 3, 2018 at 4:38 pm

In cycling, we call this a modified handicapped pursuit, not a time trial.

The best way would be to stagger all of the vehicles around the track (the GT race car would be farthest back from the start line the and the Raptor would be "scratch" and start directly on the start line) and they all start at once with the stagger calculated to have them all race to their limit and reach the finish at the same time.
