1/4 mile drag race # 2 between a stock 2018 Dodge Demon and a lightly modded 2017 SRT Hellcat Charger… on the same track, on the same day… at the same time. Since the weather was not optimum for drag racing (hot, humid, high DA), it affected both cars equally.
The Demon’s 6.2L Supercharged V8 makes 840 Horsepower and 770 lb-ft of Torque. The Hellcat Charger is also powered by a Supercharged 6.2 Liter V8 which makes 707 Horsepower and 650 lb-ft of Torque when stock. The Hellcat Charger has cold air intake and drag radials as does the Demon. The Demon comes with a cold air intake and drag radials from the factory whereas it’s mods on the Hellcat.
Since we’ve never seen a Tesla run 10.0 tell us what you think about the video of a Tesla beating a Demon.
It was hot and humid at No Problem Dragway in Louisiana with a DA of +1800 feet.
The Demon is brand new and the owner did not to use the TransBrake to launch the car. Track prep was and handled by Brandon and the team of Mass Traction
Tell us what you think about both cars below.
