2018 Dodge Demon Chassis Dyno Testing

Before beginning the modification process, we test the bone stock 2018 Dodge Demon on our Dynojet chassis dyno to measure rear wheel horsepower and torque. Power is made on Shell V-Power 93 octane pump fuel.

Would you like to learn how to make fast cars faster? Check out Tuner School where our classroom includes a chassis dyno cell and a 1/4 mile dragstrip – all on the Hennessey Performance campus!

Please tell me you are going to do the proper break in first before you track it and run the piss out of it.

The exhaust and supercharger whine is way too quiet from the factory.
You guys need to fix that.
    Just kidding.
It's an insanely great car as is, can't wait to see what you guys come up with.

What is the world record for a challenger in the 1320? Get this thing to run a consistent record pass. That should make the Mopar crowd happy.

I don't care who you are or what type of cars you're into, you have to admit that this car looks and is badass! From a diehard Chevy guy, I'd be proud to have this in my garage.

What mode was the car in? Anyone who knows anything about this car from the reveal video knows its got way more in it. That and what fuel is in it? With race gas and track mode i recall them saying that the car made just over 1000 hp.

It’s bad for engine if you drive very hard before it break in, isn’t it?
Why would you dyno it on the second day of you got the car??

that motor only has 50 miles on the clock, meaning that it has not been run-in….. only after 500 miles does the FULL power unlock on a demon, until then you do not have access to launch control, line-lock, trans-brake….. nothing !! maybe these guys should have run the car in, so they unlocked the FULL potential, before smashing it on the dyno????

721wheel 93 octane is sick. Probably 690wheel on crap california 91 octane. 680wheel torque is awesome.
